In response to a series of unprecedented crises that have impacted Lebanon since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Banin Charity Association’s Crisis Management Committee has emerged as a beacon of hope and support for the community. The committee’s journey began with a noble purpose during the pandemic and has since extended its scope to encompass a wide range of challenges that have beset Lebanon. From securing infant formula during a time of shortage to aiding in the reconstruction efforts after the tragic Beirut explosion of August 4th, the committee has demonstrated unwavering commitment to its mission.
The Crisis Management Committee draws its strength from a panel specialists, pooling talent and expertise from Banin various branches across the nation. This united front includes dedicated professionals hailing from Nabatieh, Tyre, Baalbak, Tripoli, Beirut, Metn and Mount Lebanon, forging a collaborative network that stands poised to tackle any crisis, be it pandemic, a disaster or even the specter of war.
Furthermore, in recognition of the growing importance of its mission, the Committee of crisis has taken on an additional crucial responsibility. In the event of war, it is tasked with preparing schools to receive and manage displaced people, providing them with shelter, safety, and necessary support.
