Banin Charity Association & Ministry of Social Affairs Launch Project 10,452 to Support Vulnerable Communities During Ramadan & Easter

Beirut, Lebanon – March 2025 – Banin Charity Association, in collaboration with the Ministry of Social Affairs, officially launched Project 10,452 yesterday, a large-scale humanitarian initiative designed to provide critical assistance to Lebanon’s most vulnerable communities during the Holy Month of Ramadan and Easter.

Named after Lebanon’s total land area, Project 10,452 reflects Banin’s commitment to nationwide relief efforts, ensuring that no community is left behind. The campaign focuses on three key areas of support:

  • Food parcels distributed to underserved areas.
  • $50 supermarket purchase vouchers, granting families the dignity of choice.
  • $50 medical cards, providing access to essential healthcare services, including consultations, lab tests, and medications.

During the official launch event, Minister of Social Affairs Hanin El Sayyed expressed her support for the initiative, emphasizing the importance of public-private partnerships in addressing the country’s humanitarian needs.

Project 10,452 – launched by Banin Charity Association years ago, is a chance to assist 10,452 Lebanese families from all regions across Lebanon. For the first time, the Ministry of Social Affairs will be a partner in this initiative; 3,000 beneficiaries of special needs aged 30 and above and holding a valid personal disability card will be chosen to benefit from food parcels or medical aid at Banin Medical Center.

Banin Charity Association President, Dr. Yahfoufi, highlighted the organization’s dedication to sustainable humanitarian aid, noting that this initiative is more than just immediate relief—it’s about restoring dignity and empowering families with choices.

We invite you – wherever you might reside , be it in Lebanon or elsewhere – to support your people and your land. Your contributions whether monetary or in-kind will be huge assistance.

The launch event brought together Mr. Anwar Al Ajami and Rabih Al Ajami, founders of Wish Foundation Australia, government officials, and corporate partners all united in their commitment to alleviating hardship and providing tangible support to those in need.
