“Banin Charity Association” Officially Assigned to Manage the Shelter Center at the Sports City Stadium

تكليف “جمعية بنين الخيرية” رسمياً إدارة مركز الإيواء في ملعب المدينة الرياضية انتهى اجتماع جمع رئيس مجلس الوزراء الدكتور “نواف سلام” ومحافظ بيروت القاضي “مروان عبّود” مع أمين عام جمعية بنين الخيرية الأستاذ “جاد بيضون”، على قرار تكليف الجمعية بإدارة مركز الإيواء الذي سيُنشأ داخل ملعب المدينة الرياضية في بيروت، لاستقبال النازحين جراء العدوان على لبنان. وفي أعقاب الاجتماع، أكد الأمين العام لجمعية بنين الخيرية جاد بيضون أن هذا التكليف يمثّل “شرفاً حقيقياً للجمعية، إذ لا أنبل من أن تكون حاضراً إلى جانب أهلك وناسك في أصعب لحظاتهم وأشدّها وطأة.” ويأتي هذا التكليف الحكومي دليلاً على الثقة بقدرة الجمعية على تحمّل مسؤوليات لوجستية وإنسانية ضخمة في ظروف استثنائية بالغة الدقة والتعقيد. كما ننوّه أن تجهيز المركز قد بدأ منذ الليلة و بدعمكم بإمكاننا الإسراع في إنهاء هذا المركز الّذي سيعيل أهلنا Prime Minister Dr. Nawaf Salam and Beirut Governor Judge Marwan Abboud with the Secretary-General of the Banin Charity Association, Mr. Jad Beydoun, resulting in a decision to assign the Association with managing the shelter center to be established inside the Sports City Stadium in Beirut, to receive those displaced by the aggression against Lebanon.

Following the meeting, Secretary-General of the Banin Charity Association Jad Beydoun confirmed that this assignment represents “a true honor for the Association, as there is nothing nobler than being present alongside your people in their most difficult and trying moments.”

This governmental assignment serves as a testament to the trust placed in the Association’s ability to shoulder large-scale logistical and humanitarian responsibilities under exceptional circumstances of great sensitivity and complexity.

It is also worth noting that the preparation of the center has already begun as of tonight, and with your support, we can accelerate the completion of this center which will shelter and support our people.
